So I started out this post by saying: Wealthy Affiliate Review for 2018, don’t stop anything, start something new! Why would I start out with a statement like this? Especially on a website that is designed to create something new, that’s a clue, to get rid of the job that I don’t want to be in.
The reason I say this is that I once heard some really great advice concerning getting from where you are to where you want to be. The advice was remarkably simple and straightforward but not really thought about you very much. I deftly call it out-of-the-box thinking.
One afternoon I was complaining to a buddy of mine about how much weight I wasn’t losing and all the challenges that I was dealing with losing weight and getting in shape. Being the good friend that he is, he just quietly listened for a short period and then said this. All I can tell you buddy is don’t stop anything, start something new and focus on that and that only.
I have to admit I was a little taken back by this so I asked him to explain this statement. He said focus on starting to create a healthy diet and then start eating it. Focus on starting to become thinner and then start going to the gym. Focus on starting to set healthy goals and then start setting them and most importantly take a little action daily to start moving in that direction and you quickly create momentum because like working out a muscle, it gets stronger with daily, consecutive repetitive action towards what you want and stop thinking about what you want which is to be fat and out of shape.
So I started doing exactly that and became thin. I stopped doing a lot of excuse making and thinking of reasons why I couldn’t and started doing small little actions that are in the direction of becoming thin and healthy and that is exactly the same formula I’m using now and you’re going to use so that we can flush those lousy jobs that we can’t stand!
So here’s the direction that I personally think is best to start creating a new business to replace my J.O.B. – Just Over Broke!
My opinion of the wealthy affiliate is so high that I have been a consistent member since July 2009.
